Welcome to freshstART 2011!

It is a time for fresh starts for OSEA with a new name, a new constitution, and a new website all aimed at strengthening visual and media arts education in Ontario. For educators, exciting opportunities abound to use visual and media arts to engage learners in the creative and critical analysis processes. Join us to share your fresh ideas, creative teaching methods, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning in visual arts, media arts, and design education in school, university, and community settings. Be inspired to align your practice with 21st century ideas, and help to shape art and design education in Canada into the future.

freshstART is a conference organized and sponsored by the Ontario Art Education Association and will feature two days of workshops, studio classes, lectures, tours, and a trade fair. The program offers a wide range of sessions in order to provide professional development and networking opportunities for art teachers, artists, art students and academics in art and design education.
